This map is for people to understand that silk production centers in China are clustered around the Yangzi River—-to be specific In Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai. Mulberry trees and silk worms grow in a mild temperature. These towns along the Yangzi River have provided a flourishing environment for mulberry trees to grow and have served as commercial hubs for silk production workers during early modern, modern, and present times.
Famous silk merchants and shops are marked on the Google Map along with the information such as an address or a website. Any suggestions are welcome to enhance this map.
